ST. ANDREW’S CABBAGE SOUP AT WESTEND!

You’re all warmly welcome to join our charity event called Ondrejská kapustnica (“St Andrew’s Cabbage Soup”)!

On Thursday, the 30th of November, at 3 pm, the Westend Gate courtyard will provide room for all of us to enjoy some delicacies and breathe in the Xmas atmosphere again. For the symbolic price of 1 euro, you will be able to buy a bowl of cabbage soup to support a good cause – the Centre of Social and Vocational Rehabilitation based in Mokrohájska Street.

In addition to two sorts of cabbage soup priced at 1 euro a bowl, you’ll also be able to buy honey cakes, a whole variety of other cakes and wafers, as well as tea, punch, or honey-sweet mead. Naturally, we won’t have forgotten the vegetarian and gluten-free friends among us! 😊

The Centre of Social and Vocational Rehabilitation at the Institute for the Vocational Rehabilitation of the Disabled seeks to prepare disabled individuals for a successful career on the job market. Their clients can take advantage of free information and consultancy services, tests designed to assess the vocational potential using a variety of social and rehabilitation programmes, and many other activities focused on helping people find jobs.

Considering the wide variety of activities it offers, the Centre would greatly benefit from a digital projector and a projection screen, which we would like buy for the Centre using the money raised from the sale of our St Andrew’s Cabbage Soup.

Hesitate no more, come and have some fun, and support this initiative!
